Society for Environment Education, Research, and Management (SEERAM) is one of the pioneering environmental NGO in India. Working in the field of Environment Education, Research, and Management. Since its inception in 1995, SEERAM has been among the forerunner in leading the environmental movement in India.

One of the various means that SEERAM has adopted in helping people to enrich their knowledge about environment and development, is to organize national and international conferences, courses, workshops focusing on the contemporary issues relating to environment. Continuing this tradition for over 18 years of its existence. SEERAM has been the organizer and host of national & international conferences starting from 2005.

These conferences had been supported by several governmental and non-governmental organizations, and were attended by a large number of people from diverse fields and activities from different parts of the globe.


The Invitation

This invitation goes out to all colleagues who are concerned with and/or working in such field, which deals with environment, education, research, management, sustainable development, eco-friendly practices, resource management and overall holistic improvement of the society. Your experience, ideas and knowledge shared with us would be highly appreciated.




To further the realization that Environmental consciousness deals with the well-being of all people. To create an awareness that the sustainable use of natural resources is intended to produce a better quality of life for human kind.



  1. To ensure the sustainable utilization of our country's natural resources with a concern and sensitivity for the resource dependency of the most economically deprived.
  2. To preserve and protect the biological diversity of the country as a major long term economic asset for our future citizens.
  3. To ensure that environment education and conservation awareness reaches every individual in the community, and is delivered as target specific packages that can be easily understood and acted upon.
  4. To create an ethic for the conservation of the biological diversity.
  5. To further a consciousness for the preservation of our cultural diversity.
  6. To create pollution less employment in rural area.
